But why choose a motorhome over a towable RV, and how do you know which type (class) of motorhome is right for you?

A Quick Guide to Motorhome Classes
There are three main types (or classes) of motorhomes: A, B, and C. We’re going to keep these descriptions brief, but for a more in-depth breakdown you can head to a recent O’Connor RV article about the differences between Class A, Class B, and Class C motorhomes.
Class A Motorhomes. These motorhomes are the closest thing to a full-size home on wheels, and are usually quite large, luxurious and full of amenities. This type of motorhome can be used as a tour bus, for large families and for those who are spending a lot of time on the road.
Class B Motorhomes. On the other side of the spectrum, Class B motorhomes are much smaller units, typically consisting of converted vans from brands like Sprinter and Pleasure Way. They’re a popular choice for 1-2 occupants, and often employ clever space-saving hacks to make the most out of every square inch.
Class C Motorhomes. This is the most common type of motorhome, and straddles the line between Class A and Class B. They have plenty of space and amenities onboard, comfortably sleep 2-4 passengers, and are compact enough to make driving and parking relatively easy.
How to Decide if a Motorhome is Right for You
